Andromeda-class Star Lynx (Simplified)

The Star Lynx is a heavy built dart. It's extremely sleek and strong. This easy-to-assemble plane is promised to go at great distances when you are inside.



(1) Start by folding the paper in half vertically.

(2) Unfold.

(3) Pinch the center horizontally by folding the paper in half and unfolding.

(4) Fold the two top corners to the pinch.

(5) Fold the top edge to the center.

(6) Fold the top edges to the center crease.


(7) Fold the tip downwards.


(8) Fold the top edges at a very small angle. Leave a little breathing room, or you will rip the nose while folding in half.


(9) Optional. Lift the bottom flap.


(10) Push the flap in the pocket underneath.


(11) Repeat on the other side.

(12) Fold in half.

(13) Make the wing folds. Match the leading edges with the center crease.

(14) Open the wings.


Winglets are optional.


(15) Make the winglet at the end of the leading edge and at the back corner.


(16) Unfold.


(17) Squash the crease.


(18) Repeat.


Finished winglets.

Stork






The stork is a graceful glider indoors and a mind-blowing stunt outdoors. This is a devil to fold, so I recommend this plane for professionals only. This plane needs some elevator in order for it to fly straight.

(1) Fold the top left corner to the bottom right corner.

(2) Unfold, and repeat on the opposite side.

(3) Unfold.

(4) Mountain fold in half.

(5) Unfold.

(6) Push the center of the paper down.

(7) Bring the top layers to the left while folding the creases.

(8) Continue to flatten the paper by folding it in half.

(9) Pull the flap on the left to the crease bellow.

(10) Fold the top flap to the point where you reach the corners.

(11) Repeat on the opposite side.

(12) Fold the right end of the flap so it matches with the edge underneath.

(13) Repeat on the opposite side.

(14) Open the wing.

(15) Flip over.

(16) Squash the top layer.

(17) Next, you will make a petal fold. Make the creases first.

(18) Unfold.

(19) Finish the petal fold.

(20) Make the leading edge by mountain folding the bottom layer on top of the wings.

(21) Fold in half.

(22) Inside reverse the front to make the neck area.

(23) Fold the wings down. Flip over and repeat on the other side.

(25) Make a winglet.

(26) Repeat on the opposite side.

(27) Open the wings.

(28) Add lots of elevator.

(29) Proceed to the neck area.

(30) Inside reverse to make the bill.
